The Iidex/NeoCon Exposition and Conference, where thousands of design lovers gather every September in Toronto, is offering a travel subsidy for professionals in the industry who wish to attend.

No great surprises at the 20th edition of the SIDIM (Salon international du design d'intérieur de Montréal), but there were some pleasant features: Design Africa and the fashion and design instalments, multiple coffee machines (particularly the beautiful new Jura) and a few isolated Québec designers who, in spite of an awkward setting, defended their creations very well.

On May 22, 23 and 24 the Salon international du design d'intérieur de Montréal (SIDIM) will be celebrating its 20th anniversary at Place Bonaventure.

This week marks the beginning of the Milan furniture show; the entire world of design will congregate for five days of excess of all kinds, a visual feast for aficionados, a novelty hunt for buyers and journalists and, for those who will not be there, a universe to discover in a special edition of Créativité Montréal that will be published on April 29.
