A café-boutique that mixes oriental elegance and contemporary chic, Chandelier emerged from its owner's passion, designer Randa El Gayar, for design, the allure of the orient and the cuisine of the Mediterranean.

The restaurant's design was built around a series of contrasts. The sophisticated ambiance, created with an abundance of grey, is spotted with warm accents in orange: of the four chairs placed around any table, three are displayed in various shades of grey while a fourth is dressed in a bright orange fabric.

Partitions and tapestries in black and white reflections of ancient oriental motifs, lacquered wood tables, Venetian-style mirrors, light fixtures adorned with cascading pendants and high-back settees complete the look.

At the end of the hall, a long white counter displays yogurts and fruit during breakfast hours followed by soup, salad and sandwich offerings for the lunchtime crowd. In addition, hanging behind this counter are paintings that are for sale by the artists.

In the same manner as at boutique-hotels, clients can purchase the dinnerware and the cutlery as well as certain décor items on site.
